Self Recognition
Sometimes I just need a little color in my life. And this was one of those moments. I'm sure I painted this on a dark cold night in Juneau, Alaska where the nights are too long and we haven't had any sun in a while. The results are an explosion of color. And an explosion of energy. I was throwing paint, smashing paint, smearing paint, and drawing with it right out of the tube. The texture of this painting is incredible. To get a good feel for it you really have to see it in person and run your hands across the surface. It's thick with paint and drips and ridges where I used a comb and concrete trowel to make patterns. And it's a great size too. A 20x20 gallery canvas that will fit in any room of any house.
All my paintings are signed on the back, so you can hang them in any orientation you like. They also come with a varnish topcoat to protect them from harmful UV rays and pollutants.
I want all my customers to be completely satisfied. So, if you purchase a painting and within 3 weeks decide it doesn't match your walls, or your space, you can send it back and get a full refund.
