Fragments
Fragments is a painting you have to see in person to appreciate. I started the background with a simple gray. Then I found a large piece of plastic from the recycling bin and used it, alternating yellow, red, and white, dragging it across the canvas. Then I broke it up, creating fragments of gray between the color. I like having textures in my art, so I found a jar lid and an old comb, and used them to scrape paint and create little designs. At one point I painted a pin black and white, and used it to make criss cross patterns in the upper left corner. I think it works well. The yellow, red, and tiny smidge of white, looks great with the gray shining through. It has a nice modern look to it, making it a great fit in any office or home.
All my paintings are signed on the back, so you can hang them in any orientation you like. They also come with a varnish topcoat to protect them from harmful UV rays and pollutants.
